Hello,

I need the latest EnergyPlus validation document, but on the site, only the versions up to 8.3 are documented (https://energyplus.net/testing). Is there a validation document for the newer versions? If yes, where can I find them?

Thank you very much for your attention, Best Regards.

Rodrigo.

@rkleitzke there is a public GitHUb repository for OpenStudio's and EnergyPlus' BESTEST workflow named BESTEST-GSR. The latest version we have a release tagged for is EnergyPlus 8.9, however on the master branch you can review reports and test cases for OpenStudio 2.7.0 and EnergyPlus 9.0.1. We are just reviewing it a bit more before we tag it as a release on the releases page and submit it for posting on energy.gov for 179d software.

Excel Summary reports can be found here. Note there are two copies of each test category. One for EnergyPlus and one for OpenStudio, they are identical in simulation content as they are based off of the same simulations.

Zip files of all of the test cases can be found here.

As a note, this repository has an open source license and is available for use by other energy models tools that generate either OSM or IDF files. This example workflow shows how to bring an IDF file into the to utilize both the reporting measures that gather the necessary tabular and time series data, and post processing scripts that populate the Excel spreadsheets.
