What happened to my model?
Hi, I am having trouble getting my model to look like it did originally. The .osm is loaded but it shows everything grey. I tried different view modes and it is not fixing the problem. The envelope is not displaying the usually yellows and reds and the windows are not transparent.
Please help!!
what happens when you load it in the OpenStudio App and look at it with the embedded viewer?
It shows up with the correct colors and windows. This only occurs in SketchUp
Hi, I need a response ASAP! My senior project depends on it
which version of sketchup and openstudio are you using? the geometry above doesn't look like .osm geometry
I am using SketchUp Pro 2017 and OS 2.6. Everything was working fine until I opened the file one day. Yes the geometry above is not part of the .osm, it was used to create the envelope. The .osm is the first floor face with the window (which is greyed out).
If your geometry is fine in the OpenStudio viewer, you should be ok to proceed with simulation. If you still need to make geometry edits, make sure you load the .osm file in Sketchup, not the .skp file, and don't load in any other extraneous geometry. It may help to copy and save the model under a different name in a different directory, then try re-opening in Sketchup. Once you get working geometry, save early and often, and have a backup you can go back to.
