Differents values for ceiling height [closed]

If I understand correctly, you are trying to model two areas of the same building story where the ceilings are at different heights. As an example, let's say that you have a corridor with a ceiling height of 10' above the floor that leads into a foyer with a taller ceiling height of 15' above the same floor. To model this in OpenStudio, use the following process:

1. When you draw the shape of the floor plan for the building story, use a line to separate the corridor from the foyer.
2. Use the "Create Spaces from Diagram" tool in order to create 3-D spaces for each portion of the floor plan. This tool asks for a floor-to-ceiling height, so use it once for the corridor with 10' height and use it again for the foyer with 15' height.
