I tried to simulate the BESTEST case 600 using openstudio for a demonstration. When I used refraction extenction method for the windows( cause should be more accurate), my results were out of BESTEST range. Then I used the GLAZING WINDOW MATERIALS in the openstudio to enter the window data and the results became exactly in the range. What is the problem with the first method which should provide more accurate results?

@Navid (converting my earlier comment to an answer).

I would not expect WindowMaterial:Glazing:RefractionExtinctionMethod to be more accurate. It is just an alternate way of expressing the transmittance and reflectance data. For the glazing in BESTEST case 600 I would expect nearly identical results for the two types of glazing input.
