I am currently working on building energy modeling using energyplus software. I find difficult on how to model the hvac system in a zone using the idf editor, and most of the rooms on the building has 2 window type air-conditioners (cooling only). Now, my problem is how to put a system in idf editor using the window type air-conditioner. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

The object you are looking for is ZoneHVAC:WindowAirConditioner.

You can look at 'HVACStandAloneERV_Economizer.idf' example file which you can find under the exampleFiles directory in your E+ installation directory.

Generally speaking you might want to use the 'ExampleFiles-ObjectsLink.html' to find examples with Objects of interest. Also you can use the ExampleFiles.html to find what is inside the example files. Both html files are also located under the above mentioned directory.
