Are there any European construction materials in the BCL? European materials often vary from US materials in the size of the construction products.
It's not too hard to change the sizes, but how can I save/export the created materials in my OpenStudio Model, so I can also use them in other models/projects ?
Under the file menu in the OpenStudio application there is a "Load Library" menu option. This allows you to load an OSM model as a library (for non-hvac objects). By default we point it to a library of our DOE building type templates, but you can make and share your own directory of OSM files with custom constructions, schedules, loads, and space types. This is also a good way to grab resources out of earlier models.
We do have a number of people interested in adding standards components from other countries to BCL, but it will take us some time to better support and document that workflow. Ultimately that will be the best way to share, but for now the local load library can work.
Thanks David, that will help me. I will create some standard components for dutch buildings, but I don't think I can add all parameters in there, as I don't know thermal, solar nor absorptance for most of those materials, so I'm not sure if it's worth sharing with others. I have tried it and it works well for me now.

This may sound trite, but it's not intended as such: what makes building materials "european?" You may want to clarify your question a little more.
