Title 24 SFam energy standard in CA has required whole house fans for several years now.
I did not see it as an Option in BeOpt.
Is there a way to include that in BeOpt through a custom option?
 
The only fall back I can think of for now is a surrogate such as an ERV/HRV (albeit at much lower flow rates)

No you can’t model ventilation cooling in BEopt. You can take the EnergyPlus IDF file generated by BEopt and add it manually using EnergyPlus.
