asked 10 years ago

Upon import, the overhangs (shading objects) in the following simplified model are not importing into sketchup via a revit exported gbxml?

https://github.com/OpeningDesign/Spor...

Anyone else have similar issues?

As shown on the image here shading surfaces should come in. @macumber or I can try to look at and see what is happening.

Thanks David/Dan. Yes, it's weird, they're there in the xml file. And show up in various gbXML viewers, but don't translate into Sketchup.

Hi, @theoryshaw, have you solved the problem? I have similar problems. I treated the shading in revit as roof, and set different material from regular roofs, is it correct?

Looks like this is a bug in OpenStudio, I have filed it here. Will try to get this fixed in 1.7.0 release.
