Hello.

I'm looking for the file CECTemplate.osm referenced in the book "Building Energy Modeling with OpenStudio". I'm using version 2.5.0. Is it on a previous version of OpenStudio?

I list the authors of the book here. Hopefully they'll know where the file is.

  4. @Kyle Benne

Thank you!

That (and a few other template files) were replaced as of OS 2.5.0 with files aligned with and derived from the OS Standards Gem. The new resource files are named 90.1_.osm, DEER_.osm, etc. and contain inputs for multiple building types, and climate zones. If you're looking for California data comparable to what was in the CECTemplate.osm, try one of the DEER files for the building vintage you're interested in.

Larry beat me to the answer, I would suggest using the DEER files. If you really want the old file it is available from github at: https://github.com/NREL/OpenStudio/ra...

Hello Dionisio, In OpenStudio 2.4 the file is stored in the Resources folder of the installation openstudio folder. E.g.: C:\openstudio-2.4.0\Resources

I hope it helps!
