Hi

I'm making a model in EnergyPlus (EP) but it seems that the ventilation is not working properly. Under 'SetpointManager: Scheduled' I've got an object 'Air Loop Setpoint Manager' with Schedule Name 'Air loop cooling set point temperature: Always 14.0°C'. When I look at the output, the air temperature of the ventilation is always around 14-16°C (which is far too low). Why doesn't EP take the 'ThermostatSetpoint:DualSetpoint' into account? The heating set point schedule is 20°C and the cooling set point schedule is 24°C. So normally the air temperature of the ventilation should be between these two values, right? Thanks in advance!

Based on the information above, the HVAC supply air temperature should always be 14C and the zone air temperature should be between 20 and 24C.

If you want the supply air temperature to vary based on the thermostat requirement, then use a different type of setpoint manager. SetpointManager:SingleZone:* or SetpointManager:Warmest may be what you want, but we need more information about the type of HVAC system to say exactly which one.
