Hello,

I'm testing the HybridVentilation object of the EP, the desired schedule option is number 5 (80% adaptive comfort). When I request the variables:

Availability Manager Hybrid Ventilation Control Status

Availability Manager Hybrid Ventilation Control Mode

Hybrid Ventilation Operative Temperature

And also the status variable in the AFN.

In my example, I have configured AFN and an HVACTemplate:PTHP and I believe they are both working together because the result of the AFN status is 1 for the whole year (ie windows and doors are always open). The HybridVentilation object should control this, right?

If by "status variable in the AFN" you mean "Availability Manager Hybrid Ventilation Control Status", then it sounds like EnergyPlus has decided that natural ventilation is allowed for the whole year. It's hard to say why that might be the case, but if that's not what you're expecting then you'll need to double check all hybrid ventilation manager inputs. You could also try one of the simpler control modes (e.g. Temperature control, option 1) and see if that behaves as you expect.
