Completed Datapoint Failure while running Latin Hypercube Sampling

Hello community,

I am trying to run algorithmic simulations on cloud using Latin HyperCube Simulations. All my samples have failed with an error message 'Completed Datapoint Failure'. The simulations have failed even before running through the measures. I am trying to fix this to get my simulations running. Any help shall be appreciated.

You should be able to view the directory for each data point and view the error file - that will tell you what went wrong. If it is happening before you reach measures, it's possible you are missing design days or have some fatal geometry error. Need to see the error file to determine the cause.

Hi, Our error here doesn't appear to be in measures - when a local server was run, all the measures ran without errors. It is showing errors when running the LHS simulation on remote server.

That seems to suggest it my be a bug rather than an issue with your setup. What version of OpenStudio/PAT are you running? I recall there were some issues with the early 2.0 series.

We use version 2.4.0. You believe there is a bug in this version of OpenStudio?

v2.4 should be ok. try installing 2.5 and seeing if you get the same error?
