Warehouse space conditioned by fans - always on

Hello,

This is a follow up to my previous post here

I am trying to model an unconditioned warehouse space (no mechanical cooling, only fans combined with interlocked sidewall louvers).

The fans are upblast fans and have a total combined capacity of 900,000 cfm (louvers on the sidewalls allow outside air back into the facility). These fans are constant volume and always on regardless of temperature.

The issue I was running into following @Avi 's suggestion was I would get an error along the lines of "Severe * CalcMixedAirSetPoint: Missing reference temperature setpoint for Mixed Air Setpoint Manager " if I only used a mass flow setpoint manager and not a temperature set point.

@pksmith could you post a link to your model?

@Avi, sure here is a dropbox link to the model (https://www.dropbox.com/s/5lg0wnr3elx...) Let me know if there is a better way to get it to you. Thanks so much for taking a look!

As I see it you can delete the Setpoint Manager and run it as is. After all you use constant flow rate fans. I have checked it on your model it will not through any Errors just few Warnings stating that you don't have any control for that loop (which is the case) and that you can't do sizing without thermostat setting (again you hard sized the fans so no sizing needed to my best understanding).

@Avi, I really appreciate you taking a look. Two follow up questions: 1. How do I delete the setpoint manager?, and 2. Does it matter if the cooling size parameters (and heating size parameter) remain with the default values or will that impact my model?

@pksmith 1. when you hover with the courser over the SP a black triangle will appear click on it to delete the SP. 2. I believe it will not affect anything.
