Amazon EC2 policies

I am trying to get started using the Amazon EC2 for parametric analysis. I've created an account and two users and a group. Now I am trying to set the policies for the group using the Visual editor. There are so many options to sort through. If I select all EC2 policies I get a bunch of warnings that something else needs to be invoked. When I review all the individual policies I have no idea which ones to select for running OpenStudio an EC2. Is there a beginners' guide for setting up EC2 for OpenStudio?

The Algorithmic section of PAT documentation goes over the basics. After you are done with your analysis make sure you go to your Amazon EC2 website and confirm that your instances have been terminated.

If you can't get it to run using what is provided in the tutorial, please provide more detail on the specific errors you are seeing.
