I am modeling VAV system with air cooled chiller.
Even though I didn't use DistrictCooling, I see that some cooling come from district cooling as below.
Does anyone know what could be the reason causing this?

You were right! I was setting some zone as ideal load systems.

Ideal Loads Air Systems will report their energy as District heating or cooling. Do you have any zones conditioned with Ideal Loads systems?

But if I give Ideal Loads Air Systems to each thermal zone of three, the district heating or cooling energy is the total of these three?

The 'District Cooling' (and Heating) energy end uses will report the total energy used by any 'DistrictCooling' (and DistrictHeating) plant components as well as any ZoneHVAC:IdealAirLoadsSystem components in the model for the run period.

can you please tell which software are you using? is it DesignBuilder or E+, because in DB if you use simple HVAC mode or Compact mode than the result is listed in District cooling as you are getting. Also in EP if you use an ideal Load Air system than also you will get the same results in District cooling (as Mr.Eric has informed).
