I need to define a dual duct VAV system in OpenStudio (v1.5). I just realized that it is not supported yet, and from the HVAC roadmap, it has a second priority to be implemented. My question is: is there a workaround to define this anyway in OpenStudio in order to stay in OpenStudio (and to be able to use PAT)? We cannot go to EnergyPlus because then we cannot use the PAT.

You can do it via an EnergyPlus Measure. This will not be an easy one, but it will allow you to stay in PAT.

Thanks! What I imagine is using the HVACTemplate:System:DualDuct and appy it to the every building story, and then HVACTemplate:Zone:DualDuct to every zone in that building story. Is this do-able?
