How can I fix the cooling coil component size by capacity [W]?
Hi everyone,
I made a simulation model with using openstudio and energyplus. For the first run of the simulation, all of the plant components were assigned to be auto-sized. In my model, it includes chiller, thermal storage, heat exchangers and four pipe fan coil unit.
As a results, I recognized that the sensible cooling rate of four pipe fan coil unit is not enough to satisfy the peak cooling load, so the air-conditioned zone’s mean air temperature does not reaching the cooling hvac setpoint temperature.
What I am trying to do now is to assign the cooling coil’s nominal capacity considering the peak cooling load, but I only found to set the heating coil’s rated capacity and there is no input for the cooling coil. How can I assign the cooling coil’s capacity and fix the capacity value during the energyplus run simulation?
Is there that I have to concern? Anyone who got a trouble like me in the past?
