I have my entire building modeled in the proposed model. The last thing I need to do is model the solar PV array. I believe I have entered the array correctly and set up the generator. However, when I run the simulation it doesn't change my EUI (kbtu/sq.ft/yr). Shouldn't my EUI change (reduce) if I have a PV array? What am I missing? Any help/assistance is greatly appreciated!

Please add the name of the program you use (e+ , OS ...) and tag it. What report are you using?

I am using eQuest as the energy modeling software. I was looking at the BEPS and ES-D reports.

I quote from Energy Star website: " Essentially, the EUI expresses a building’s energy use as a function of its size or other characteristics" So I guess that installing PV will not change your energy use. On the other hand you should be able to see the total energy production of your PV in several places in the energyplus report; For instance you could search for table labeled Electric Loads Satisfied were Total On-Site Electric Sources are listed.
