Hi, I have a building system where there is one unglazed transpired collector on the roof, and two on the same facade. The maximum number of surfaces has been reached and I found that E+ was giving me strange messages after modifying the IDD in order to expand it.

My thought is if it is possible to connect them in series? Such as the outlet of the wall collector is the inlet of the roof connector, and so on. The first collector would have the outdoor air node.

Thanks!

Could you include the error / warning messages in your post? The documentation says that the number of surfaces is extensible, so modifying the IDD should work.

When opening the idf file with IDF editor, I get the following pop-up windows:

IDD parsing ERROR

Invalid character found in line ascii239

Invalid character found in line ascii187

Invalid character found in line ascii191

I've checked those lines but there doesn't seem to be any strange, visible character.
