Hi. I have a warehouse with natural air intake through the loading docks, mechanical exhaust on the roof. Heating provided by air heaters with water heating coil (100% recirculation). Hot water provided by gas boiler. And no air conditioning. So, i tried to use fan coil units that a quite suitable exept that i can't remove cooling coil. PTAC doesn't comply too. Is there any way to simulate this case?

P.S. I have a similar question: How to model air door (air curtain) in the warehouse? It is expected that the loading dock gates will be open approximately 50% of the operating hours. It would be ideal to take into account the fresh air flow through these doors too.

I would be grateful for any advice and help.

You can use the fan coil units template with gas boiler and chiller. Then turn off the chiller (set the schedule to off at the chilled water loop level). You shouldn't have any cooling load this way.

For the air curtain case just set a high (is it up to you to define the infiltration ach) infiltration rate for the loading dock zone. Also, you can set a infiltration schedule just for this zone.

Thank you for good ideas! It's strange that to achieve such seemingly simple things need such strange ways.
