Modifying battery storage operation scheme
I read through the documentation for operation schemes available for battery storage with or without a generator but could not find an option to use battery storage as mere storage solution without 'Feed' to the grid option. My Trial model shows negative net purchased electric energy/power. I wish to use the storage only with TrackChargeDischargeWithStorage and with no feed to the grid. Any suggestions? I know EMS could be an alternative but I think I might be missing a simple trick to have positive net purchase all the time depending on my ChargeDischargeSchedules.

Hello, I am a new energyPlus user. I need to install battery without on-site generation. It has to charge from grid during peak and discharge to the building demand during off peak hours.You mentioned that you read documentation about battery with or without generator. Can you help me find the documentation for using electrical storage without on site generation. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I did not use the battery model eventually so can't comment more. But I use EMS for the thermal storage operation. You can explore that too
