can't find error log in New Version of Openstudio

only run the simulation or show simulation options are available. the previous version had the tree option from which i can know more details about my error so i can solve them

Click on "Show Simulation" (top right corner) which will open an Explorer/Finder window for you to review the files

stderr and stdout at the root of your model/ folder (the one automatically opened) will tell you about OS crash.
run/eplusout.err will give you the EnergyPlus errors (the one you're after in your case).

Kindly check the second picture i added. it's a preview of what i get when i press show simulation button. i don't seem to find either stderr or stdout there. Thanks!

eplusout.err is visible in that directory. That's the one you want.
