SSR/Telecom/Server Room Equipment Power Density Assumptions
I'm looking for any assumptions on how much the equipment power density of a server/SSR/telecommunications room would use. Already looked at COMNET and didn't find anything specific to server/SSR rooms. Does anyone have any literature to point me in the right direction?
It's always good to ask the client on the load they have for the server room as It varies WIDELY from office to office. I also don't recall any literature/standard for such loads although would love to know about it if there is.
The projects I've worked on In last couple of months, I had almost 5 kW of load for an office building with almost 625 people occupancy, and another one with 8 kW of server load with almost 1,000 people office. Both the projects are in China. A rough calculation of almost 8 Watt per person maybe for a medium/large scale office?
