Which paramters do we need to change while using a new weather file in energyplus?

I am performing simulation using different weather files. But, when I look at the output, all values are same for different weather files locations. I was expecting values to be different. Can somebody tell me why is this happening?

When we use a new weather file in energyplus, which parameters do we need to change before initiating the simulation?

Did you make any changes to Site:Location and SizingPeriod:DesignDay?

The default site has been kept as DFW. but in the Run simulation for sizing periods I have clicked "Yes" and Run simulation using weather file also I have clicked "Yes". My assumption was that doing this will override energyplus location and show the influence of weather file on my simulation. am I doing it right? or I am wrong somewhere?
