energy plus electric usage breakdown

Hi Everyone

I ran the energyplus simuation with the reference idf file "RefBldgSmallOfficeNew2004_Chicago.idf"

I got the hourly electric usage in eplusout.csv in the following variables:

1 . Electricity:Facility J 2. Fans:Electricity J 3. Cooling:Electricity J 4. Heating:Electricity J 5. InteriorLights:Electricity J 6. InteriorEquipment:Electricity J

My expectation was that item 1 (total electric usa

My expectation was that item 1 (total electric usage) should be the sum of the items 2 through 6. However, I am missing some electric energy usage portion..can u please point out if I am missing something?

Thank you for the response. One of the missing output variable was this: Output:Meter,ExteriorLights:Electricity,HOURLY; It accounted for the missing usage value.

Glad it worked - I think the protocol when you get the solution is to select an answer and append the question with '[closed]'.

How much is the error? There may be meters that are not setup (meaning they need to be defined) in order to capture all other electrical end uses.
