SketchUp vs OS gui workflow

asked 7 years ago

After a brief search I didn't see a discussion on this. So I was wondering where people usually make the switch from the SketchUp plugin to the OS interface. I'm guessing somewhere after geometry and thermal zones and before HVAC, loads and schedules. Also, do people have a mental bullet point list of items to take care of in SketchUp that will make life hard later on in the modeling if missed?

Thanks! Jacob

I personally sort out my geometry, space assignments, thermal zoning, and thermostats before proceeding to the App - very much like what you've described. I generally pull in Construction Sets and Space Types from a donor model.
