Hi, I am doing my thesis and i am trying to see the effect that thermal capacity has on office buildings. I also want to see how curtain walls can affect the energy simulation but i find it hard to simulate curtain walls on energy plus. Could you please someone give an idea on how to approach this issue? Thanks in advance!

EnergyPlus doesn't have a concept directly of a transparent wall; walls are opaque. So to model a curtain wall make a wall representing your curtain wall and then create a large sub-surface setup as a window that is almost as large as your opaque surface. If you want to get into details about the mullions, there is a Frame and Divider object you can refer to.
