removing unused constructions in OpenStudio

asked 7 years ago

Hello, My model has a lot of unused contructions - it was created by combining 3 different floors into one in Sketchup using the merge spaces from external file script and for some reason, this resulted in a new construction for each surface (i.e. InsulatedWall1, InsulatedWall2, etc.. even though they are all identical).

I am now trying to delete all these unused constructions, but when I try to purge them in the constructions tab in OpenStudio, the program does not respond and crashes. Is there another way to quickly remove all of these?

Thanks Phan

Here is a measure to remove unused resources (like constructions) from your model.

The crash sounds concerning, though. If you can replicate it, I would consider sending the model to the development team or filing an issue.
