Hi

I want to model the attach wall with TRNBUILD,but i have no detail on structure of that wall.

The only thing i have from the wall is R-value of it, is there any chance that i could model this wall in TRNBUILD with just R-value?

Please help me with this problem.

Thanks

First check your architectural drawings for some clues on the type of wall you are modelling (e.g. if you model a house you can assume that your wall is formed out of brick and insulation or maybe you have a SIP panel etc.). Then construct the wall layer by layer using the material library. Vary the thickness of the insulation and its thermal conductivity until you reach the required R or U value.
