Using surface intersection, either through the Surface Matching feature of the SketchUp plugin or the surface matching measure should slit the attic floor to match the spaces below. If you are creating a multi-story building, then you will also want to either assign an attic floor construction to the floor surfaces in the attic, or to a construction set assigned to the attic space. This will allow you to have unique attic floor constructions vs. typical floor constructions.

thanks for you reply, i used surface intersection method and it is work. I have another question: how to choose the thermal zone for the attic where it is non conditioned and my building is single story with the ceiling split from the attic? and should i choose space type for the attic or leave it without space type?
