Openstudio Supermarket/Grocery Store Reference Model

asked 2017-05-10 15:24:45 -0500

So the Create DOE Prototype measure for Openstudio does not include a Supermarket/Grocery store building type. Does anyone know if there is a normative OS model available for supermarkets anywhere? I have checked the BCL but didn't find anything. My last resort is to import the Supermarket Commercial Reference Building IDF, has someone already done this and added the HVAC and Refrigeration systems?

I know it is being worked on, but I don't have a timeframe? @aparker may have more specific information.

End of FY17 (i.e., end of Sep 2017) I believe.

@aparker is the Supermarket model still on track to be included in the Create DOE Prototype measure by the end of this month?

@__AmirRoth__ and @David Goldwasser are correct, making an answer for them.

There is currently no OpenStudio supermarket model, but ORNL is assigned to develop one by Sept. 2017. This should be made available via the "Create DOE Prototype Building" Measure when it is finished.
