I would like to model tankless electric water heaters in Openstudio for a LEED project but I am not even sure where to get started. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Best practice is to use a WaterHeater:Mixed object. If you read through its documentation, you'll see that EnergyPlus developers suggest setting the tank volume to 0.00379 m3 and setting the heater control type to "modulate". All other inputs should be specified as you would for any other water heater.
