I am working on a net zero project. The roof shape is attached as the screenshot. Is there any tutorial or documents to create a roof like this shape ? Does this really matter to the modeled results instead of a flat roof ?

There is a good tutorial on creating complex pitched roof geometry within SketchUp for OpenStudio on YouTube here.

For a net zero project, I would think getting every detail right is paramount - including geometry. Using flat roofs as a workaround could skew shading / reflectance, zone volumes for HVAC sizing, etc.
