OpenStudio: BCL Library Split System

OpenStudio:

HVAC BCL - Once HVAC equipment is downloaded from BCL, where do we find it in the library to apply it to our model? When I download split systems, or ductless heatpumps, I cannot find it in the library.

OpenStudio does not have universal support for HVAC components downloaded from the BCL. Only the VRF indoor and outdoor units are currently supported in a seamless way. You can download VRF systems from the BCL and then they will show up in the HVAC library for drag and drop into the model. Other types of components are defined exclusively in a HVACLibrary.osm file that is shipped as part of OpenStudio. We would very much like to enhance this capability in the future.
