OpenStudio: Shared Domestic Water Heaters
OpenStudio:
Shared Water Heaters - I have several buildings, detached from one another, each with several hvac zones, all sharing the same water heater. How would I model a hot water loop for a domestic hot water heater split across 3 such buildings? Or would I just right-size a water heater for each building if I was to model the community of buildings at aggregate and not care about individual building performance?
This use case would require a district system, and is the sort of thing URBANopt is intended to support.
