I have a Sketchup model that searches for a missing .osm file. A dialog comes up first thing when the Sketchup model opens, saying it's removing previously linked Open Studio information. The only way to close it is to accept it. It then deletes the entire Sketchup model, because there is no .osm file with the name it's searching for. Is there a way to open the Sketchup model without it searching for the .osm file?

You can disable the OpenStudio plugin and restart SketchUp, then this check will not be performed and you can open the file.

Thanks very much. Now, is there a way to associate the same SketchUp model with a new Open Studio file, so at least I don't have to rebuild the Sketchup model?

I was having a similar problem. Even though I had a .osm file in the same name, it wouldn't associate with the skp file automatically. So, I had to import the related .osm file manually. Importing a new .osm file will replace the existing sketchup model though.
