For infiltration, it is the outdoor air from the crack of building envelop. But the define of design specification outdoor air is confused? Do they have any relationship? Many thanks

As far as I'm aware infiltration will not prorate the mechanical ventilation rate which would imply that they have no relationship.

DesignSpecification:OutdoorAir doesn't 'do' anything on it's own. It simply defines how much OA you want to be brought into a given space. Other objects such as Controller:MechanicalVentilation can reference DesignSpecification:OutdoorAir to determine what their minimum flow rates need to be.

Thank you for the reply, but forgive that I'm not the HVAC major. I used ideal loads air system in my project, and I have to set the design specification : outdoor air. whether you mean that this OA is arise the mechanical ventilation and will result in the change of space cooling and heating.
