Greywater heat recovery

asked 2017-01-06 05:16:19 -0500

I am modelling a Domestic Hot Water System which integrates a heat production from solar collector and from greywater heat recovery system couple to a heat pump.

I was wondering if anyone was able to model that on E+ or DesignBuilder.

Ok! So this is something available on EnergyPlus platform but not translated to DesignBuilder. Right?

Thanks for the share

EnergyPlus can model Solar Collectors and Drain Water Heat Exchangers (per @aparker’s comment below).

Couldn't you use the Drain Heat Exchanger option on the WaterUse:Connections object to model grey water heat recovery?
