example ifc file to test import?

I am getting started with the Import IFC functionality in OpenStudio.

Is there a simple IFC example file available - known to work with the BIMServer & OpenStudio software - that I can use to test my setup ?

I was coming across that file which was part of the testing scheme of the serializer. I was able to open that file in Xbim Xplorer:

I wasn't able to import it into OS 2.4.0 so I tried to import it into the oldest OS version I had (2.1.0) but add no success. Maybe it is something to do with the my serializer installation though It wasn't throwing any warnings.

I have one IFC file which after pressing Download OSM File OS actually does try to load something but it ends up being empty. Maybe you could try the linked file on your installation.
