Hi, I'm setting the Space Types (in the "general") in OpenStudio, and I want to put into the box some "Design specification outdoor air" on the right side. My problem is that I can only find the ventilations of ashrae189.1. Where can I generate a new one of these? thank you

Design Specification Outdoor Air along with infiltration objects are a bit different from other Internal loads in OpenStudio in that they don't have an definition/instance relationship. You just drag one in from the library directly onto a space or space type. Then you can rename it and change the characteristics of the object.

There is not a dedicated button to make new object for these types of objects, the only way to make new ones is to bring them in from the library. I'll admit this isn't an ideal workflow.

You can load different libraries that are setup for different building types and standards, or you can use the Space Type and Construction Set Wizard measure. This will generate space types and constructions for specific climate zones, building types, and standards; this includes design Specification Outdoor Air objects.
