Performance curve set Override through EMS

asked 2016-11-04 09:10:40 -0500

Dear All,

Currently we are working on a refrigeration objects and try to evaluate coil performance at different part load conditions with the help of set of performance curves. Based on the predicted cooling load, we would like to use a different power and capacity curve for the refrigeration compressor. We've already prepared the curves and want the Compressor object to use the correct curve through Energy Management System (EMS) feature.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

I suggest you give it a try. There is an example file called EMSCurveOverride_PackagedTerminalHeatPump and discussion of Example 11 in the EMS Application Guide. Use calling point called InsideHVACSystemIterationLoop.
