All, I swear I read a feed recently talking about using a means to get an idf data echo when using AirLoopHVACUnitary object to see what all e+ creates/uses when using this construct, but cannot find this now? Am I asking gibberish?

Maybe 2 better questions would be: 1) when using the AirLoopHVACUnitary object, which has the fan/coils as part of the object, is a 'regualr' air loop with a branchlist and separate fans & coils created for simulation Or am I dreaming here? 2)Is there a way to turn on the idf echo (in a general sense)? I found some info where the ".audit" removed this as a default behavior....but I haven't had success tuning it back on yet either.....thoughts?

Are you thinking of HVACTemplate processing which makes an expanded IDF file?

Thanks, it's difficult because less established/used once tags (e.g. "energy-plus") show up when typing. I usually cross reference with the Tags page to see which ones are used more. Can also simply click on the tag to see all related questions.

@MatthewSteen - didn't realize/think of that resource. I'll refer to that moving forward.

@Archmage - that is entirely possible...still learning here....can you elaborate on this ?
