I can't get a furnace to run
I am testing a one space model with a furnace to be sure I understand how it works before I test run a much more complicated model with many furnaces. I have followed all of the steps in any videos I could find for the simple one space model but the run fails. Can I send someone the OSM file to view the error codes? I cannot decipher them and have no idea what to change. Thanks. This project is for PACE funding for a multifamily building. It is due this Friday. We have the complicated model already built. I just need to know what I am missing when running an OSM file with a furnace.

See This page on viewing simulation errors. If you post the error here it will be easier for people to provide advice. If the model runs without the furnace, but not with it, my first guess is that you may not have not added design days to your model. You can see more about design days at this page.
David, I checked the simulation error text. I had the design days added so that did not show up. The main problem appears to be the ventilation air controller. The error code is says:

I am just using the standard furnace template.I cannot find the line to which the error code refers. Is there any information on the use of the mechanical ventilation module? When I tried removing it, I ran into additional errors in the run.

I added a diffuser to the furnace system diagram. That got the model into energy plus but now there are issues with a thermostat. I don't see how to add one. This there a screen shot of a successful furnace air loop that I can see?
