how to simulate a room for indoor thermal condition?

Is there any step by step guide where i can learn to do this,i know it can be done using openstudio sketchup plugin,i know how to model envelope and assign construction set.I am a beginner and reading all the documentation available.Can anyone suggest me where to look and what feature to use.A simple to-do list will help me alot.thanks in advance.

yes,i saw it and i have learned how to make geometry correctly,but i cant see any option to get the indoor temperature variation througout the days,this is what i want to simulate,do u know how to?which option i need to use for this.

@djbox9, you just need to request zone temperatures on the "Output Variables" tab as shown here. Then you can view time series results in "ResultsViewer" application.

Actually since our Standard OpenStudio report already requests zone temperatures for use in the zone conditions table, you can just go to ResultsViewer on your model for hourly zone temperatures.
