asked 2016-08-16 08:52:45 -0500

updated 2016-08-16 09:28:32 -0500

I have two big models running in OS 1.11, but that were developed since OS 1.9.

Now, when I try to open this model in OS 1.12 or OS 1.12.2, fatal error occur and the software close out. The same thing occur when I try to open the Mesures tab.

I have two measures associate to this files:

  • Tariff Selection Generic
  • Set Output Table to IP Units.

Here are the models.

Thank you for your help!

Sounds like you're hitting the same problem as this. Not sure if there is a fix yet, but you could try re-setting the nodes like @Julien Marrec describes.

@Geraldo Pithon if you haven't made too many changes to your model after updating them to 1.12.x, I would suggest going back to 1.11.x.

I have the same problem running OpenStudio 1.12 with a model started in 1.11. The suggestion by @Julien Marrec on the GitHub link fixed the problem in two models I am working on, both of which had 1 OS:Coil:Heating:DX:SingleSpeed object. Basically, I opened my 1.12 and 1.11 models in a text editor, searched for "OS:Coil:Heating:DX:SingleSpeed" and copy and pasted the air inlet node name from the 1.11 file to the blank in the 1.12 file. For whatever reason, OS 1.12 was deleting these node values.

@MatthewSteen yes, I will continue working in OS 1.11 while this bug isn't solved. Thank you!
