EnergyPlus Re-Setting Path Environment to Old Java Version

While trying to run the MLE+ app in Matlab, it appears that EnergyPlus is resetting the path environment to an old version of Java that has been deleted off of the computer. Any idea why it is doing this, or how to configure it to avoid this?

Receiving this error: 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
