Hi,

I am using the Exterior Equipment in the Facility Tab to specify exterior lighting at 6,698 W. It is running 12 hours a day 365 days a year so uses approximately 2,444.8 kWh/month or 29,337.2 kWh/y. Yet, OpenStudio Results Exterior Lighting is reporting this as 29.34 kWh (presumably per year - there really should be an "Annual" annotation if that is so). Am I misinterpreting this number - is it referring to some period other than a year?

Thanks,

Matt

Note that the annual exterior lighting consumption can also be found in the OpenStudio report under Monthly Overview and then expanding the "Electricity Consumption (kWh) - view table". Exterior Lighting will be a row in that table with an annual (as well as monthly) values.

The OpenStudio Results are produced by a measure that gets values from the EnergyPlus results, so check the Lighting Summary report there for the real values.

It looks like the measure is incorrectly doing a conversion here, which may be happening if you're converting the results to IP units.

Good catch, I'll fix both the unit conversion and extend the label to specify consumption as annual. https://github.com/NREL/OpenStudio/is...
