After "intersecting the entire model and surface matching" walls split into two parts

asked 2016-04-28 07:18:41 -0600

In some of my spaces, after intersecting the entire model and surface matching, one of my walls split into two parts that is shown in the images below.

I would like to know is there no way to solve this issue? For instance can I delete the crack line on my wall or can I delete the wall surface and redraw it?THANKS in advance for any help.

I wouldn't worry about these lines. I think a larger issue is that many of the interior walls have the outside boundary condition set to "outside" (blue) instead of "surface" (green).

This is a common problem so if you haven't already read the other question related to surface-intersecting and surface-matching by clicking the tags in your question.

I actually would worry about the lines, since they mean more surfaces and are probably screwing up the surface matching. Yes, you can delete them, or delete the surface and re-draw.
