is openstudio able to simulate buffer storage?

I want to simulate solar active heating systems. most of this systems has buffer storage, is openstudio able to simulate buffer storage? image description

You can model them in EnergyPlus by using Water heaters, please see THIS for more information. I will wait for others to comment on OpenStudio.

I asked a similar question. See the answer here. Using the 'Water Heater Mixed' or 'Water Heater Stratified' objects in OpenStudio with the heater capacity set to zero. Also be sure to set the parasitic load to zero.
