I have placed one window on south side of 12 X 12 model in open studio legacy (sketchup plugin). And i have placed a 10 x 10 illuminance grid covering the entire plan of the model. After running simulations in energy plus i get Illuminancemap csv file. I would like to know the results (point in time illuminance) is showing exact values as placed in the model? That is values (lux) on top represent near north facade and values(lux) on bottom represent points near south facade?

Hi @hema,

I'm assuming you're talking about the eplusmap.csv file. If so I think it's actually the reverse, i.e. the value rows are printed in the file starting at y=0, which gives you a "flipped" array of illuminance values. The point coordinates of all the values are included in the eplusmap.csv file though, so you can determine what you're looking at. You may need to set up a template in Excel or whatever that remaps the values to their proper plan locations for plotting.
